Rootstock Software, a leading cloud manufacturing and supply chain ERP solution provider, recently acquired Kenandy, Inc., a developer of cloud ERP software for manufacturers and distributors. Rootstock feels the acquisition positions them to better compete with the likes of Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft and SAP.
The combination of Rootstock Cloud ERP, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud and the underlying Salesforce Platform technologies, such as Salesforce IoT and Einstein Analytics, should allow for meeting a diverse collection of customer needs. Rootstock will look to leverage the additional resources in advancing their ERP solutions and to aid manufacturers as they migrate from legacy platforms.
