Fisher-Price’s Recalled Sleeper Linked to 100 Deaths

The company reiterated a recall of all models on January 9.

Approximately 100 infant deaths have been reportedly connected to a recalled Fisher-Price product.

Fisher-Price initially recalled 4.7 million Rock ‘n Play Sleepers in April 2019.

The company reiterated a recall of all models on January 9. 

Fisher-Price said eight fatalities reportedly occurred after the 2019 recall. 

The hazard involves infants rolling to their stomachs or side while unrestrained and suffocating. 

Additionally, Kids2 recalled 694,000 of its Rocking Sleepers on January 9. 

The company reported 15 infant deaths in the Rocking Sleepers.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warned against using inclined products for infant sleep.
