Rockwell Automation recently held their annual Automation Fair at Chicago's McCormick Place. The event drew over 15,000 attendees and more than 150 leading suppliers of digital technologies. Amongst the numerous opportunities afforded by the event was the chance to discuss key industry initiatives and critical issues on the trade show floor.

This included a conversation with John Tertin of Cybertrol Engineering. The company works as an integrator of IIoT technologies and software that enables the manufacturing sector to expand production capabilities in new and exciting ways. Here, he discusses the changing landscape of the industrial sector post-COVID and some of the key lessons learned, including the need for greater data and supply chain visualization tools, as well as what all this expanded connectivity will mean from a security perspective.
