Ascent Lifting acquired fellow rigging and lifting supplier Hoisting Wire Rope and Sling earlier this year, the company announced Tuesday.
Hoisting Wire Rope and Sling provides wire rope, slings, hoists and other equipment to end users, as well as offers rigging services such as wire rope splicing, mooring, and field installation. The Corpus Christi, Texas, company will operate as a branch within Ascent’s CERTEX division.
The deal, the fifth acquisition for Ascent since it was established by private equity firm Shorehill Capital in 2022, expands its nationwide footprint and would particularly bolster its operations in Texas.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
