Hyundai Samho Wins Oil Tanker Order

World's fifth-largest shipbuilder will deliver four tankers worth $331 million to an unnamed Latin American company.

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co. has won an order worth 306.9 billion Korean won (US$331 million) for four oil tankers, the company said Friday.
 
Hyundai Samho Heavy will deliver the ships to an unnamed Latin American company by April 20, 2011, a company spokesman said.
 
The world's fifth-largest shipbuilder by order backlog has won orders worth US$3.7 billion, including the four oil tankers, this year, he said.
 
Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., the world's largest shipbuilder by order backlog, owns 95 percent of Hyundai Samho Heavy.
