Tesla is an extremely popular electric vehicle but it can still be rare to see more than one at once.
In Las Vegas recently, though, two Teslas had a close encounter after a brief joyride.
According to KVVU-TV, a woman this week stole a Tesla from the parking lot of the Excalibur Hotel & Casino.
The car’s owner remotely tracked the vehicle to a Tesla charging system in Primm, an unincorporated community near the border of Nevada and California.
The woman attempted to flee the scene when police arrived but ended up crashing into another Tesla that was using the charging station.
No injuries were reported but the crash resulted in “major damage” to the charging Tesla.
The woman was arrested for grand larceny auto.
