Emerson Reveals Wallmaster LED Series Wall Pack Luminaires for Hazardous Locations

Emerson (Rosemont, IL) announced the launch of the Appleton Wallmaster LED Series wall pack luminaires, offering an energy-efficient alternative to traditional HID wall pack lighting fixtures in hazardous industrial environments.

The Appleton Wallmaster LED Series is designed to provide bright, energy-efficient and safe illumination for hazardous and harsh industrial locations, while reducing operational and maintenance costs.

  • Up to 80% energy savings compared to HID lighting
  • Five lumen outputs equivalent to 70W–400W HID (3,500–12,000 lumens)
  • 102,000-hour service life minimizes maintenance and downtime
  • Type III medium light distribution for improved visibility
  • 10%–100% dimming levels and color temperature options for reduced eye strain
  • Suitable for mounting up to 25 feet with easy-access hinged enclosure
  • Optional emergency battery backup (1450 lumens for 90 mins / 800 lumens for 180 mins)
  • Connectivity support for up to ten luminaires via Appleton Areamaster or Mercmaster Connect systems
  • Enables daylight harvesting, motion sensing, scheduling and remote monitoring via Plantweb Insight
  • Engineered for NEC/CEC Class I, Division 2 (CID2) hazardous locations
  • Rated for harsh non-hazardous NEMA 4X, outdoor and maritime applications
  • IP66-rated housing with corrosion, dust and moisture-resistant build

A second series, Appleton IWH LED Wall Pack, is also available for ordinary locations with identical rugged ratings minus CID2 classification.
