Harrisburg, PA – Yesterday, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro announced a $63.2 million investment from Reno, Nevada-based rapid custom manufacturer SendCutSend to grow its manufacturing operations with a new facility in Pittston, a small town in the northeast part of the state. The project is expected to create 309 new jobs over the next three years.
SendCutSend will lease and improve some 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space for a new CNC machining and laser cutting operation. In May, the company set aside more than $250 million to expand existing facilities and establish new manufacturing hubs throughout the U.S. SendCutSend's business model merges software-first logic with high-speed domestic production to provide domestic laser cutting, CNC machining and finishing services with instant-buy access.
SendCutSend, recently valued at a little more than $1 billion, wants to be America's "anything factory," able to deliver parts in as little as 24 hours. The company currently has three manufacturing locations in Reno, Nevada; Paris, Kentucky; and Arlington, Texas.

According to the governor's office, Pennsylvania beat out Ohio to win the expansion project.
SendCutSend received a funding proposal from the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) for a $3 million Pennsylvania First grant. The company is also encouraged to apply for the Manufacturing Tax Credit (MTC) program and the Qualified Manufacturing Innovation and Reinvestment Deduction (QMIRD) program, which could provide additional tax savings.
“Our customers need parts fast, so we move fast, and Pennsylvania gets that. Pittston brings one-day shipping to more of our Northeast customers,” said Jim Belosic, founder and CEO of SendCutSend. “We’re hiring, and machines are landing. Big thanks to Governor Shapiro, Secretary Siger and their teams for making this process seamless.”
Belosic is an enthusiastic champion of U.S. manufacturing. He previously said, "Reindustrializing America isn't going to happen through think pieces or thoughts and prayers ... It happens when people build actual companies, buy actual machines, hire actual people and ship actual products. There’s never been a better time to manufacture in America. Go build something." He has also encouraged competitors to steal his business model.
