Lubrication Engineers has acquired PhyMet, the manufacturer of MicroPoly proprietary solid lubricants.

MicroPoly solid lubricants consist of a mixture of polymers, oils and other additives that provide lubricity and longer service life than traditional lubricants. They block contaminants and are self-replenishing for reduced maintenance.

MicroPoly lubricants can be customized for specific lubrication requirements to handle a wide variety of applications, including bearings, chains and wheel flanges, in industries such as food processing, steel, mining, chain, metal processing, foundry, OEM, printing and automotive manufacturing.

“We chose MicroPoly as our first acquisition due to the strength of its business, its talented team and the unique technology it delivers to customers,” Chief Growth Officer Paul Grimes said.

PhyMet opened its facility in Springboro, Ohio, in 2002 to meet the growing demands for MicroPoly lubricants.
