It's the final days of the year, which means we're all inundated with countless "Top XX of the Year" lists. To that I say, embrace it. Even in such a tumultuous year as 2020, it's always worth taking a look back at the year that was.
It was an interesting, but great year for video content on Industrial Distribution. Once the pandemic arrived in March, it made filming our "ID Quick Hits" episodes rather difficult. So, we recently overhauled Quick Hits and created our new "5 Minutes With ID" series, which features short interviews with industrial supply executives and thought leaders. I'm happy to say that the new series is doing quite well, evidenced by two of our first four episodes appearing on the list below. That's notable, given that the first episode aired on Nov. 18. Check out the newest episode here, published on Tuesday, Dec. 22.
Here's a look back at the top 10 most-watched videos published by Industrial Distribution during 2020, and they're all worth giving another viewing, or a first if you haven't yet.
1. Industrial Distribution's 2020 Big 50 Countdown: 10-1 - published Oct. 1. As expected, our Big 50 countdown videos led the way. I could've grouped these together as one combined item, but I think they're each deserving of their own spot on this list. We've been first unveiling our annual Big 50 List via a video countdown each year since 2013, and as a three-part series since 2016.
