NEENAH, Wis. (AP) -- Bemis Co., which makes flexible packaging, said on Friday that one of its units has finished a tender offer to buy 38 million shares of its Brazilian subsidiary Dixie Toga SA for $90 million.
The purchase means Bemis has increased its stake from 86 percent to 99 percent of Dixie Toga's shares.
Bemis shares had fallen 32 cents to close at $33.93 before the announcement. They fell another 5 cents to $33.88 in aftermarket trading.
