PALO ALTO, Calif. (AP) -- Hewlett-Packard Co. said Thursday it has reached a settlement with a Hong Kong company that it accused of infringing on ink cartridge patents.
The company said Print-Rite Holdings Ltd. will remove affected cartridges from the U.S. and other nations where HP has made complaints.
The complete terms of the settlement were not disclosed. A call to HP was not immediately returned.
HP filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission in September, seeking to ban imports of ink cartridges that it said infringed on HP patents.
