MOSCOW (AP) â€” Russian airline Atlant-Soyuz on Thursday signed a contract to purchase four Boeing 737-700 airliners, the Interfax and ITAR-Tass news agencies reported.

The catalog price of the order is US$249 million (€260 million), the reports said. A representative at the U.S. manufacturer's office in Moscow said no one was available to comment on the report and phone calls to Atlant-Soyuz's press office went unanswered.

Atlant-Soyuz is the flag carrier of the Moscow city government, which owns a controlling stake in the airline. It flies scheduled flights within Russia and charter flights to destinations in Europe, Egypt and North Africa.

The airline already flies two Boeing-737s that it leases and the rest of its fleet consists of Russian aircraft.

The contract signing was announced at Moscow's International Aviation and Space Show, the reports said.
