According to published reports, a new flat steel manufacturing facility will be established soon in the Hamedan province of Iran.

IRAN - A new flat steel manufacturing facility will be established soon in the Hamedan province of Iran, according to published reports.

Mohammad Bagher Mir Abolfathi, chairman of the Industry and Mines Organization in the Hamedan province, said a new flat steel manufacturing facility is in the works for the province. The facility will produce hot and cold rolled coils, according to a report on MEsteel.com.

The estimated production capacity will be three million tons per year.

Approximately $769 million will be invested in the mill. The project should be complete in three years.
