Tata Motors may soon set up a car manufacturing unit in Egypt, according to published reports.
An India-based newspaper, The Daily Standard, has reported that the car maker is said to have held talks with an eight-member delegation from Egypt. The company has also lined up investments in the petroleum sector.
Egypt is gaining popularity as an investment destination due to its geographic location, linking the Mediterranean region, Europe, Asia and Arab nations.
