3D Systems has made some major announcements this month. The company has partnered with BMW to 3D print car parts, and it also struck a deal with Sanmina to manufacture its 3D printers in Fremont, California.

The company also came out with a slew of new additive manufacturing platforms, including a few that could change the makeup of modern manufacturing facilities.
