Did Anyone See the Movie "Extract"? Seems Unlikely...

September 25, 2009

I’m a big Mike Judge fan, dating back to “Office Space” (OK, and back to Beavis and Butthead, even, I’ll admit).

His sort of “sequel” to Office Space, “Extract,” is set in a factory. We don’t get too many movies set in a factory… “Gung Ho” maybe. Extract opened September 4 in the U.S. and finished a disappointing 10th place for box office receipts that week. Here is the trailer:

I’ll see it eventually, even if on DVD or pay-per-view. Have you seen it? Is it any good? Any lessons to be learned, or just a funny movie?

The movie is fantastic. I really enjoyed it...asdid my wife. Bateman is the modern day Jack Lemmon.
