Commerce Rule on Fisheries in the Western Pacific Sent to Senate

WASHINGTON, May 9 -- The Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee has received an executive branch communication from the Department of Commerce.

The Acting Director at the Office of Sustainable Fisheries has transmitted, pursuant to law, the report of a rule entitled "Notice - Fisheries in the Western Pacific; Bottomfish and Seamount Groundfish Fisheries; Fishery Closure; Correction Notice."

The document (RIN0648-XG90) was received by the Senate on May 2.
