Commerce Rule on Pacific Cod by Catcher Vessels Using Trawl Gear Sent to Senate

WASHINGTON, May 9 -- The Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee has received an executive branch communication from the Department of Commerce.

The Acting Director at the Office of Sustainable Fisheries has transmitted, pursuant to law, the report of a rule entitled "Fisheries of the Exclusive Economic Zone Off Alaska; Pacific Cod by Catcher Vessels Using Trawl Gear in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area."

The document (RIN0648-XH03) was received by the Senate on May 2.
