Designs on compliance: Kongsberg Automotive tackles regulations using quality, risk management solutions

Kongsberg Automotive, a Norwegian automotive components manufacturer, is advancing its compliance processes with quality and risk life-cycle management solutions from Dyadem.Dyadem's FMEA-Pro will enable Kongsberg to unify its compliance reporting from development through preparation and production, thereby establishing an efficient way to meet its rigorous quality standards. FMEA-Pro 7 is a Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) software solution that improves quality, productivity, and safety while providing a means for reviewing product and process designs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
FMEA-Pro can prevent the same design or manufacturing errors from being repeated, cutting down product recalls of new designs.
According to Kevin North, president and CEO of Dyadem, "All of our customers understand the importance of FMEAs, but without the Dyadem solutions, they are faced with the daunting task of trying to manage these studies as dynamic, living documents.
