Rockwell Automation and Endress+Hauser will advance an alliance to develop solutions for the process industries in three areas: technology innovation, asset management, and engineering services.

The alliance seeks to more tightly coordinate process and discrete portions of manufacturing plant via integration between Endress+Hauser instruments and the Rockwell architecture. The vendors will thereby promote field device tool/device type manager (FDT/DTM) technology that provides a single interface to devices residing on multiple field and control networks.
