France-based Eolane Group, an electronics manufacturer, will use Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd.'s eMPower products and services, including eMPower Assembly & Test Suite to accelerate Eolane new product introduction, provide an environment compatible with its principal OEM partners, and facilitate replacement of manual systems and in-house software solutions.
Lam Research Corp., supplier of semiconductor fabrication equipment, is the first to select IBM's Web-based product life-cycle management service, a network-based solution to manage and archive product design documents and processes in a security-enhanced environment. This software will also facilitate standardization of design practices, and enable collaboration throughout the Lam value chain.
To help capture information about package pickup and delivery operations in real-time, Intermec Technologies Corp. and Federal Express designed GPRS-Dispatch, allowing FedEx China to eliminate the use of car radio transmitters, pagers, and cell phones to improve pickup time, enhance customer service, and increase operation efficiency.
To provide accurate labor information, such as time and attendance, Farmington, Conn.-based Carrier Corp.has implemented Kaba Benzing's AutoTime software.
