Aspen Avionics Evolution Flight Display systemAspen Avionics introduces the Evolution Flight Display system, the most innovative — and affordable — glass cockpit system ever for certified general aviation aircraft.

Aspen Avionics has signed a multiyear purchase agreement for the SigmaQuest SigmaSure product quality management software as a service (SaaS), SigmaQuest announced today. The avionics instrument manufacturer will use SigmaSure for managing and tracking the production life cycle of its cost-effective Evolution Flight Display System for General Aviation (GA) aircraft.

"Since our inception, Aspen Avionics has been committed to the development of sophisticated avionics products that offer an unprecedented level of safety through redundancy and reliability," says Aspen Avionics vice president of manufacturing, Kyle Farley.

SigmaQuest SigmaSure Repair InsightRepair Insight from SigmaQuest, an add-on module that integrates with SigmaSure Manufacturing and Test Insight and RMA Insight, streamlines the repair process, identifies root causes of test failures, and resolves quality problems in next-generation products, the company says.

"As we grow our manufacturing capabilities to meet increasing demand, it is critical that we adhere to high-quality standards while remaining cost conscious. SigmaQuest's product quality management system addresses our requirement to track products throughout their life cycles and it gives essential insight into suppliers' component quality, contract manufacturing, and return material authorization (RMA) processes," Farley says.

SigmaQuest will provide Aspen Avionics with a "360 degree view of its production and customer service operation metrics," says SigmaQuest president and CEO, Nader Fathi.

Aspen Avionics will be using SigmaQuest's Manufacturing Test Insight and Return Material Authorization (RMA) Insight modules delivered as SaaS. SigmaQuest customers are brand owners and manufacturers in medical device, telecom, military & aerospace, consumer electronics and cleantech energy sectors.

Various plug-ins add functionality, including SigmaQuest capability for alerts, shown.

Aspen Avionics specializes in bringing the most advanced technology and capability from the commercial and business aviation markets into general aviation cockpits and budgets, the company says, providing increased situational awareness and reduced pilot workload, making it even easier and safer to fly in VFR and IFR conditions.
