Foxborough, MA – Iconics announced that it has combined several of its products into a GEO Productivity Portal that can provide multiple benefits to renewable energy industries such as wind power, solar, bio fuel, hydro and fuel cells.
GEO Productivity Portals provide a dashboard of overall productivity, alarm information from wind turbines, and local meteorological information for complete wind farm management, company says. Portals are built from a combination of Iconics technologies including GEO-SCADA, productivity analysis and real-time online collaboration and visualization dashboards. Iconics GEO Productivity software includes:

  • Iconics EarthWorX - real-time visualization of widely dispersed assets (such as wind turbines placed in different geographical locations). Iconics SmartPin technology allows for an innovative drill down capability to quickly view alarm conditions and status for any location. Within seconds, that asset can be identified and located through Web-based Genesis64's integration with Microsoft Virtual Earth.

  • Iconics PortalWorX - easily create and manage custom business portals and visualization dashboards that provide single sign-on collaboration for optimization of KPIs. PortalWorX, based on Microsoft SharePoint Server .NET technology, provides everything required to create a portal for real-time and historical business information. PortalWorX requires virtually no administration, is easy to configure, and delivers data to those who need it, when they need it.

  • Iconics Productivity Analytics - empowers decision makers at all levels of the enterprise with real-time and accurate OEE and downtime information to help drive global operational efficiency and strengthen competitive market advantage. Businesses can gain valuable insight into operations through real-time data aggregation and connectivity to multiple data sources, presented in an intuitive and intelligent manner. Productivity Analytics helps to establish context with KPIs and deliver business intelligence throughout an organization.

  • Russ Agrusa, president and CEO of Iconics, says, “Wind parks are being created all over the world, requiring software that can visualize and manage them remotely, as well as analyze the flow of data to ensure the highest productivity." Iconics GEO Productivity Portals meets those needs, Agrusa says.
Iconics made the announcement on May 4. Other Iconics products include Genesis64, Genesis32, Pocket Genesis, BizViz and their respective modules, OPC-To-The-Core, and Visualize Your Enterprise.
