New York-based Frost & Sullivan will hold a panel discussion, Techno-Green: The ICT Fabric Underlying Environmental Innovations, at its third annual Growth Innovation and Leadership 2007 event.
The ICT panel discussion will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Monterey, Calif., September 16-18.
Moderated by Brian Cotton, Ph.D., VP of ICT Growth Consulting for Frost & Sullivan, the event will focus on how information and communications technologies (ICT) are being applied in innovative ways to solve global environmental problems, as well as how companies of all sizes are using ICT to power what is called "The Green Revolution."
During this discussion, industry leaders will participate in a panel discussion on three top challenges:
1. How does one define the opportunity for ICT in Green Technology?
2. Will ICT be a commodity application to Green Technology, or is there a value-add that we can bring to the table?
3. How can ICT make a difference and a profit at the same time?
Panelists also will discuss their own best practices in the industry, and make money doing it.
