Make your opinion count: Help AMR Research identify the world’s best-performing supply chains

By Manufacturing Business Technology Staff -- Manufacturing Business Technology, 12/13/2007 2:56:00 PM

The Supply Chain Top 25 is an annual ranking published by AMR Research that calls out those large manufacturers and retailers that display superior performance, capabilities, and leadership.  This is the fourth year of  the ranking.
The 2008 list will be published at the end of May.
AMR’s goal is to elevate the profile and influence of the supply chain profession, keep open debate and discussion going, and foster best-practice sharing. Given the fast-changing shape of the global economy and how much this new world is being defined by supply chain professionals, AMR believes it is critical to recognize leaders for what they bring to business and to the wider world.
The scoring for the Top 25 is comprised of a financial component (60 percent of the total score); and an opinion component (40 percent of the total score). The opinion component reflects the votes each company receives from their supply chain peers and AMR Research analysts. Similar to the process last year, AMR will draw the Peer Panel of voters from supply chain professionals around the world in manufacturing, distribution, and retail companies.
The voting portion is a simple Web form that takes about 15 minutes and will be administered at the end of March. AMR encourages any supply chain professional employed by a manufacturer or retailer to apply to be a peer voter. Voters will receive a free copy of the final report.
To register to vote, or for more information on how the voting panel works, please visit:
