Key capabilities of Manugistics 7 follow:

  • An integrated operational layer that resides over legacy and enterprise resources planning systems gives decision-makers visibility into relevant data from within an organization and across its extended trading community.

  • Configurable application workbenches adapt to each end-user's unique requirements. • Industry-specific features add efficiency and encompass best practices, unique business processes, and other industry market requirements to help drive gains in financial performance and operational effectiveness.

  • Web services technology is incorporated for intra- and inter-company system integration, and provides support for Simple Object Access Protocol, Web Services Description Language, and eXtensible mark-up language to ease the aggregation and analysis of data from disparate sources.
