Effective intellectual property (IP) commercialization can ensure a steady stream of royalty payments required to continue funding projects. However, valuing IP can be challenging for organizations that lack the internal resources or expertise to assess industry comparables and evaluate license payment and royalty information.
Innovation International Americas (IIA) says it has a full suite of IP commercialization services to help companies, research labs and other organizations market, value, assess, and acquire IP. Assessment services deliver unbiased, third-party intelligence needed to inform commercialization strategies. Among the services:
1. IP Marketing. IIA supports intellectual property licensing by quickly identifying potential licensees, researching the market, executing marketing and public relations campaigns, and negotiating deals.
2. IP Valuation. Research and evaluation teams perform a detailed market segment analysis and use valuation tools to produce detailed valuation reports. These reports are supported by extensive industry comparables in addition to license payment and royalty information.
3. IP Assessment. IIA provides independent, in-depth expert analysis of an organization’s intellectual property. The objective evaluation allows an organization to focus its attention on only the high-value pieces of IP in its portfolio.
