Non-farm productivity rose at an annual rate of 3.3 percent in the third quarter last year, down from an initial estimate of 3.8 percent, according to U.S. Department of Labor figures released last month. The rise was significantly slower than the 6.1 percent rise in non-farm productivity in the second quarter last year.
