With a 30.4-percent market share, IBM reclaimed its position as the leading supplier of server hardware in the second quarter of 2003, according to Framingham, Mass.-based IDC. Hewlett-Packard had claimed the lead spot in the first quarter of 2003, primarily based on the strength of its year-old acquisition of Compaq.
