Covisint, the Southfield, Mich.-based automotive e-marketplace, jointly announces a new agreement with Pleasanton, Calif.-based Commerce One, under which Covisint is using Commerce One's MarketSite e-marketplace infrastructure solution as the procurement transaction engine for indirect and direct materials, as well as other Commerce One applications. Under the terms of the agreement, Commerce One will receive cash compensation, a share of Covisint's revenue, and an equity interest in the e-marketplace.

Click Commerce, a Chicago-based provider of e-Business solutions, announces a formal relationship with Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft Corp., under which Microsoft will provide Click Commerce with architectural design services and assist in customer deployments of Click's enterprise channel management solutions. Microsoft also will provide Click Commerce with early access to Microsoft's enterprise platform software.

Milwaukee-based Catalyst International, a supplier of supply chain execution software, and Viewlocity, an Atlanta-based provider of software and services that integrate e-Business networks and supply chains, announce an alliance whereby Viewlocity's AMTrix integration broker will be bundled with Catalyst's Web-based warehouse management system (WMS). Viewlocity's integration broker will be a key technology foundation, allowing customizable information access via portals, real-time alerts, application-to-application integration with other supply chain applications, and collaboration via exchanges for the Catalyst WMS.
