ERP specialist Deacom joins personal products council

By Manufacturing Business Technology Staff -- Manufacturing Business Technology, 2/22/2008 8:41:00 AM

Deacom recently entered the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) to aid cosmetics and personal care product manufacturers in efficiently and effectively developing and selling safe, high quality, and innovative goods.
The PCPC (formerly the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association) holds 600 member companies, and is considered a leading voice on scientific, legal, regulatory, legislative, and international issues for the personal care product industry.
As the developer of the DEACOM Integrated Accounting and ERP Software System for cosmetics and personal care product manufacturers, Deacom streamlines business processes, including lab management and regulatory reporting, sales order entry, accounting, production, inventory and lot tracking, purchasing, and retail stores/Point-of-Sale (POS) in a single system. Deacom will support the PCPC mission by helping members maintain productive and profitable companies while continuing to grow and prosper in a competitive marketplace.
Says Deacom President Jay Deakins, "Our involvement with the PCPC is an example of our commitment to solving the most challenging business process issues facing cosmetics and personal care product manufacturers today. We look forward to working extensively with the association and fellow members."
