HVAC specialist taps TDCI product configurator for guided-selling gains

By Manufacturing Business Technology Staff -- Manufacturing Business Technology, 1/28/2008 6:00:00 AM

DRI-STEEM, which designs and builds industrial and commercial humidification systems, will use TDCI’s BuyDesign Guided Selling and Configuration software to enhance Web-based system specification capabilities for HVAC engineers, and streamline Web-based quoting capabilities for the company’s network of manufacturer’s representatives.
BuyDesign helps companies that manufacture products with a wide range of features, options, and dimensions increase sales by becoming "easy to do business with" while at the same time improving profitability by reducing order processing time, cost, and errors.
At DRI-STEEM, BuyDesign will support a collaborative design-to-order process by integrating the configurator with the Infor ERP SyteLine business system to enhance the order entry process.
