Easy data access: IQMS releases “smart” user interfaces

A new portal interface gives users quick access to all of the functionality within the IQMS Enterprise IQ ERP suite, as well as a window to business tools ranging from email to business intelligence applications.
The new interface, SmartPage for Enterprise IQ, connects to the underlying ERP suite to deliver fast, single-screen access to all workflow processes and user-defined short cuts to all EnterpriseIQ modules. SmartPage delivers real-time production monitors for instantaneous shop-floor feedback from remote or local business units. Secured log-in functionality is set up specifically for role-based programs.
Also, an application called SmartSearch is described by IQMS President Randy Flamm as a “Google-type tool” that will allow users to instantly find information stored in the IQMS database or residing in the application suite.
With SmartSearch, applications areas such as manufacturing, accounting, document control, SPC, preventative maintenance, CRM, and purchases can have configured search capabilities based on the role of the ERP user.
