GE Fanuc's new OEM Edge program offers EdgeTools in the form of proof-of-concept hardware, development software, training, marketing tools, conversion services, application support, and third-party device integration; and OEM Edge kits that include Proficy HMI/SCADA—i.e., iFIX and Proficy HMI/SCADA—CIMPLICITY; Proficy Machine Edition; and Proficy Historian.
OEM Edge members also gain access to GE Fanuc's GlobalCare Support Services, an infrastructure of people, processes, and technologies that help OEMs get better value from GE Fanuc solutions.
"InsideEdge and EdgeEnabled solutions give OEMs insight to machine productivity, efficiency, and ultimately, cost reductions, while increasing their competitive edge," says Scanlon, adding, "This will put more money in their pockets."
