Safe passage: Automated document management meets up with leading business apps

By Manufacturing Business Technology Staff -- Manufacturing Business Technology, 8/4/2008 12:00:00 AM

Cabinet NG (CNG) now offers CNG-API, a Windows-based development framework for integrating the company's flagship CNG-SAFE document management system with industry-specific business applications. Built on the Microsoft .NET platform, CNG-API allows resellers, OEMs, and software programmers to tap into the power of open connectivity to create enterprisewide, interoperable, paperless workflows.
CNG-API builds on CNG's Retriever and Synchronizer integration technologies, which give users access to documents directly from the native application and ensure all changes in data—e.g., phone number, address change—are correctly and automatically updated in CNG-SAFE "filing cabinets."
"Integration is the key to streamlining business processes, enabling end users to efficiently perform tasks from a single interface. Our CNG-API includes all the programming codes and tools needed to create the custom integration," says Andrew Bailey, president, Cabinet NG.
