Camstar Systems, the Campbell, Calif.-based provider of e-manufacturing software and solutions, announces a $22-million investment. HarbourVest Partners LLC led the investment, with Glenmount International and Dominion Ventures participating. More than 15 optoelectronics companies have standardized on Camstar's solutions.

Epicor Software, the Irvine, Calif.-based provider of Vantage, an e-manufacturing solution for the mid-market, announces the solution will be implemented by Omaha, Neb.-based Ballantyne, a company comprised of several leading manufacturers of entertainment equipment to automate all of its business processes. By deploying Vantage, Ballantyne hopes to significantly reduce its six- to eight-week delivery cycle, with the goal of completing the Vantage implementation in February 2001.

Datasweep, the San Jose, Calif.-based provider of real-time collaborative manufacturing solutions, has received $30 million of funding from new and existing investors, bringing the total amount invested to $44 million. The third round of funding was led by Integral Capital Partners, and included additional investments from existing Datasweep investors Mohr, Davidow Ventures, and Accel Partners.
