Equipment monitors speed safety reporting

“If a forklift gets into an accident in the warehouse, it used to be that–magically–nobody was driving it,” says Bob Greenberg, manager of the ShockWatch equipment monitoring product line. “Warehouse managers have too much to keep track of to constantly monitor equipment use, so ShockWatch stepped up to do it for them.”
Forklift-mounted ShockWatch monitors can be used to track any change state, including utilization; battery-life or propane status; backward/forward movements and lift counts; and documenting drivers and their certification.
ShockWatch also can be used to automatically maintain OSHA-specified reports. “If the horn doesn’t work, the system will dispatch an alert and disable the forklift until the problem is fixed, ensuring safety and greater accountability,” Greenberg says.
