SYSPRO quality management solution serves small and midsize market

SYSPRO says its collaboration with uniPoint, a provider of quality management software developed on Microsoft.NET technologies, has yielded a new enterprise quality-management module that integrates with SYSPRO’s standard ERP offerings. Called Quality for SYSPRO by uniPoint, the ERP users to create, link, communicate, track, and manage the life cycle of quality activities and documents.
Quality for SYSPRO by uniPoint bridges a multitude of quality standards including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO/TS 19649, AS9100, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 & Part 820 Compliance to allow SYSPRO users to maintain and measure the cost and frequency of quality events.
Quality for SYSPRO by uniPoint also encompasses the principles of Lean Manufacturing and “green” technologies, and is being offered with several SYSPRO modules:

Nonconformance, which manages the cost tracking and assignment of user responsibilities and includes both detailed and summary reporting;

Corrective and Preventative Action, which centralizes continuous-improvement processes and tracks the impact of corrective and preventive actions;

Tool & Equipment Management, a comprehensive management system that automates maintenance and repair work orders;

Document Control, a paperless, “green” solution for replacing unnecessary, costly, and cumbersome physical files with a centralized software management and retrieval system that is particularly helpful for inspections and audits; and
