Supply chain solutions vendor ClearOrbit recently picked up eBoomerang's suite of returns-management applications, which track, manage, and process returns in real time from a Web-based platform. Tools within the suite allow users to define business rules and workflows to streamline the returns process from users' facilities to retailers, or dealers and direct end users.
ClearOrbit will use the new technology to simplify reverse-logistics processes through a self-service Web portal.
