Supplier automation: RedTail managed EDI supports Sage Accpac for the enterprise

By Manufacturing Business Technology Staff -- Manufacturing Business Technology, 11/17/2008 11:24:00 AM

RedTail Solutions, a provider of on-demand managed services software for EDI and global data synchronization, now supports the Sage Accpac Extended Enterprise Suite, including Sage Accpac ERP 5.5 integrated with SageCRM.
RedTail services manage all EDI communications between trading partners and manufacturers—and suppliers and distributors—integrating with Accpac via RedTail Transaction Manager (RTTM).
RTTM automates transactions that comprise the entire order life cycle, including purchase orders, invoices, advance ship notices, and other related EDI transactions integrated with Sage Accpac ERP solutions. With the updated interface, EDI purchase orders are seamlessly moved to Sage Accpac ERP 5.5 sales orders. Once items are shipped, information is passed to RedTail to generate and transmit an EDI invoice to the trading partner. The enhanced integration provides a smooth interface, which simplifies work for order entry and billing clerks.
Says RedTail CEO Bob Gleason, “The one thing we can always count on is that large retailers will continue to place strict compliance requirements upon midmarket suppliers and distributors for electronic trading. Handling these complex transactions is difficult, and working with Sage enables our mutual customers to focus on their core businesses, without having to think about EDI compliance and integration issues.”
