A key building block of a strong organizational culture is creating an environment that makes it easy for employees to address each other directly—especially when they are upset, frustrated, or disappointed. It’s equally important to have direct conversations that are positive, but those usually aren’t the problem. When the message is tough, all too often we ask someone else to carry it for us.
Companies need to do more to create and sustain a culture that gets results. Make sure you are establishing the lines of communication that keep that culture from being derailed.
